🔍 What is IELTS for UKVI?
IELTS for UKVI is a Secure English Language Test (SELT) approved by the UK Home Office for visa and immigration purposes. Unlike standard IELTS, UKVI tests are held under stricter security protocols and are only accepted when taken at approved UKVI test centers.
🆕 Key Update for 2025: No Paper-Based UKVI Tests in Sri Lanka
Starting October 1, 2024, IELTS test partners will no longer offer paper-based IELTS for UKVI in Sri Lanka.
✅ Only computer-based IELTS for UKVI will be available.
✅ Results are faster — usually delivered in 1–5 days.
✅ Tests are available in Colombo, Kandy, and Jaffna.
